About the event
We will be marching with JARF (Japanese American Religious Federation) in the Cherry Blossom Parade taking place in Japantown on Sunday, April 21st, 2024. Join us for lunch beginning around 11:30am - 12:30pm at Konko Church.

Folks who are interested in marching with WE ARE ONE that we will meet first at Konko Church social hall (located at 1755 Laguna Street) side entrance at 11:30am to eat a snack and practice and change there.
WE will then put our stuff in the tea room and then head over to Post Street (one block away) and meet the other group there by 1:15pm near the Sequoia (grey high rise). We will probably be up the crest of the hill. We are # 36 out of the 40 entries.
We will be following after City Assessor Recorder Mr. Torres and then the Asian American Fire Fighters (who we honored at our Year End Appreciation party)!
Wear layers, hat, sun screen and bring some water and some snacks to share.
