About the event
During this event, we usually invite our local police officers, fire fighters and other law enforcement/ safety officers to talk to the community about ways of being safe. This year, we would also like to integrate humor and laughter during our event.

About our Panelists:
Daniel Gill: Puppets and Play-based Story Telling
Daniel Gill is an educational puppeteer, early childhood educator, and teaching artist living in San Francisco. He is passionate about art and theater experiences that are inclusive, allow children to express themselves freely, and offer social-emotional learning benefits. Daniel has 12 years of early childhood education experience and has worked as a classroom teacher, expressive arts specialist, teaching artist, and consultant. Daniel holds a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Special Education from San Francisco State University. Vaishali Patel: Laughter Yoga
Vaishali is a Laughter Yoga leader who is passionate about the transformative power of laughter. Every session is an opportunity for her to connect with others, creating a space where joy, positivity, and healing flourish. At the 3rd annual "We Are One" event, Vaishali will share this passion to uplift and unite communities through the magic of laughter.
Sensei Kawahatsu: Shodo, Japanese Calligraphy
Rev. Kawahatsu is the founder of the Shin Shin Gakudo school of martial arts, teaches calligraphy, and presently serves as a Senior Minister of the Konko Church of San Francisco and Head of the South San Francisco Konko Spiritual Training Center. He and his wife, Alice, live in San Francisco’s Japantown.
